If you are experiencing trouble
receiving your email,
Here is how to fix it.
Click for Elizabeth, Pennsylvania Forecast   
 
Step 1: 
Open Outlook-Express (you can be on or offline) then select TOOLS on the menu bar.

Now select ACCOUNTS.

*: Your computer may keep telling you there is an error connecting, wait for it to tell you this, then click "Hide" on the window.

Step 2:
Click the "Mail" tab, then select the account labeled "mail.monriver.com" by double clicking the name OR highlight the account and click PROPERTIES.

* The account may be named monriver.com or email...if there is only one account, select it.

If you are using Nortons antivirus, skip this step and go to the next step.

Step 3: Change the Incoming mail (POP3) to read
                       pop3.monriver.com

Click OK, then close Outlook-Express and reopen it.

 

You are done and you will be able to receive your mail now.

If you are using Nortons Antivirus, use this procedure.

Step 3
Under Account name, change the mail.monriver.com to read
                   pop3.monriver.com

 

Be careful: when you are done, the account name has to read

"user/pop3.monriver.com"  without the quotes and your username where the word user is.

 

Click ok, then close, then exit outlook and reopen it.
